Êye-jëva Dêtîkè (/ˈɘje/ /ˈʤëva/ [last (final); last (previous)] [member]) is a subtropical Town located in the Vyilekhoupe Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Êye-jëva Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Êye-jëva Dêtîkè was founded by Halicata Fyêbmtco Zepîv, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Êye-jëva Dêtîkè receives an average of 72 cm/y (28 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Êye-jëva Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 9756 m (-10941 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1163, by Halicata Fyêbmtco Zepîv. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Êye-jëva Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arround a network of spacious cobblestone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. The millitarily questionable fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Êye-jëva Dêtîkè ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Êye-jëva Dêtîkè is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Êye-jëva Dêtîkè was like during the glorydays.
Civic Infrastructure
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Êye-jëva Dêtîkè.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Êye-jëva Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Êye-jëva Dêtîkè's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

Êye-jëva Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves bloodletting to channel Abjuration energies of tier 2 via recitation of poetic epics.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Êye-jëva Dêtîkè was attacked by a group of nobles with their private armies. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Êye-jëva Dêtîkè lost 136 people, 269 livestock, and 49 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 183, when members of Êye-jëva Dêtîkè's militia enacted an operation to fortify a particular strategic location. The operation was complicated by the enemy forces had far more numbers than estimated. The conflict ended with the defense of the vault against a siege, which ended in a crushing defeat for Êye-jëva Dêtîkè's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Êye-jëva Dêtîkè's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
